Virtual Studio Etiquette

  •  Arrive a few minutes early
Logging in 2 to 5 minutes before class begins supports a calm start for you, the instructor, and fellow students.
  •  Please keep your microphone muted
This minimizes background noise and helps everyone stay present. We open space for sharing and questions at the end of class.
  •  Use video briefly to introduce yourself
Turning your camera on when you arrive helps maintain a safe, welcoming environment and builds community. You are welcome to turn it off once practice begins.
  •  Keep group chat to a minimum
This helps maintain a quiet and focused space. If you need support, feel free to message the instructor privately
  •  Use private chat or email for personal questions
For anything sensitive or detailed, please use private chat or email before or after class at centralstreetyoga@gmail.com.
  •  Create a respectful practice space
Choose a quiet area where you can move safely and with minimal distraction.
  •  Practice barefoot when possible Bare feet support grounding and stability. If you prefer socks, choose ones with grip.
  •  Stay for final rest when you can Savasana supports nervous system regulation and integration. Please plan to stay for the full class when possible.
  •  Be mindful with food and drink before class Avoid heavy meals , try to allow 1 hour before practice so your body can digest properly and move comfortably. Hydration preferably before and after classes not during the practice unless necessary. Most importantly listen to your body.
  •  Honor your body and your pace You are always encouraged to listen inward and modify as needed. Yoga is a practice of awareness, not pressure. That means modify when needed.
  •  Closing Moments matter  Our closing moments help integrate the practice and allow time for brief connection.

Where to Start

It’s completely natural to feel a little unsure when beginning yoga. Many people wonder if they’re flexible enough or “good enough,” but yoga isn’t about performing. it’s about arriving.

Yoga meets you exactly as you are, in this moment.

Whether you are brand new to yoga or returning after time away, each practice is an invitation to listen inward and move at your own pace. There is no perfect shape, only your experience.

If you’re wondering where or how to begin, we’re here to guide you.
