 Yoga warmups can be a  beneficial addition to your weekly practice.

This practice focuses on the breath moving into the spine, torso, hips and legs.

Props: Block or folded blanket or pillow to sit on.

Duration: 20 min

Open your practice by finding a comfortable seated posture & starting to notice your breath. this practice can also be performed seated in a chair with feet positioned hip width apart. 

 

Recommended practice:  3X or more a week for maximum  benefits. 

This practice is great for:

  • releasing tension and stress
  • increasing circulation
  • Supporting your day to day movements
  • increasing mobility and flexibility along the spine, opening the hips and stretching the legs. 

 

 

 

This class was developed for those who are looking to connect deeper with both mind and body through the practice of yoga asana with breath.
